What I've learnt about people is that you need to let them be. Don't stifle them. Don't try to turn them into who you want. In my case, don't try to make him fit a mould, based on a list (even though he kinda does already...yay manifestation!). That's a recipe for failure, and that should be your own red flag
Instead I'm reminding myself that life throws you curveballs at every turn, and you need to learn to duck, but also catch those curveballs and throw them back. It just doesn't make sense to hold onto them, dwell on them, and let them erode your sanity.
If you've never been in that position, you're a unicorn and you need to volunteer yourself to be studied, so we can all learn from you...
